IPB University won the overall champion in the 35th National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS) which was held at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The Adikarta Kertawidya Cup award was received directly by the Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs of IPB, Prof Drajat Martianto on Saturday, 3/12 evening.
In the 35th PIMNAS event, IPB University sent 34 groups of Student Creativity Program (PKM). IPB University managed to become the overall champion with five gold equivalent awards and three silver equivalent awards in the presentation category. In the poster category, IPB University managed to get one gold, two silver and two bronze.
The Rector of IPB University, Prof Arif Satria expressed his gratitude for the achievement this time. He explained that this achievement was the hard work of all parties, both students, lecturers and education staff who continued to provide tireless and timely support.
“Alhamdulillah, we won the 35th PIMNAS overall champion. This is all a struggle for all parties, including lecturers, students, and teaching staff,” he said.
Prof Drajat Martianto, explained, IPB University’s success in winning the 35th PIMNAS overall champion was inseparable from several key factors, including the support and facilitation of the Rector and the ranks up to the very strong Dean and Kadep and PKM Center; sharpening PKM and PIMNAS strategies; the support of focused supervisors and companion lecturers as well as classy resource persons owned by IPB; and integration of PKM activities in writing final assignments for students and BKD lecturers as motivation and appreciation of the time allocation that has been devoted. What is very important is the fighting spirit of the IPB students who are extraordinary and continue to be accompanied by highly committed supervisors, we have arrived at the goal of bringing back the Adikarta Cup. The power of prayer for the entire community is also the key so that our hopes come true. What will be tough will be the coming years because we have to keep the Adikarta Cup at home in IPB. So our program going forward is to keep Adikarta at home. It takes a very strong fighting character from all of us to keep what has been fought for in our hands. Insha Allah we can.
