Alfadhila won the medal after collecting 7.6659 points under the host fighter Pichmorakoth Punleu who collected 7.9992. even so, the success of Alfadhila certainly immediately caught the attention of many Indonesian public.

The athlete who was born on November 24, 2001 admitted that he was grateful to be able to contribute the first medal for Indonesia. Alfadhila said that this medal could not be separated from the support of his parents, campus, and of course the country.

“Alhamdulillah, I am very grateful, of course, even though I just won a silver medal, I myself have targeted to get a gold medal. Apart from that, I hope that Indonesia can win championships in the next event,” said Alfa when interviewed via text message, Friday (05/05/2023).

Alfadhila’s victory was then followed by Riana Oktavia, a student of the UMJ Faculty of Social and Political Sciences ( FISIP ), who won a bronze medal in the Kun Bokator sport with the acquisition of a point score of 8.0825 in the Women’s Single Bokator Spirit Form category and is currently still holding matches until May 8, 2023 in the Kun Bokator sport. .

At the time this news was published, Indonesia was ranked fifth with 1 silver medal and 5 bronze medals under Cambodia with 9 medals, the Philippines with 7 medals, Thailand with 3 medals and Laos with four medals. Hopefully the achievement target of Indonesian athletes to win first place in the 2023 SEA Games event can be realized.
